Dinner tonight at the HBH Bajor Sörház in downtown Eger, at the other end of Dobó Square. I had the pork "good woman style," which came with roasted potatos wrapped in bacon. "Good woman style" means the pork is cut thin and smothered in onions, pearl onions, yellow bell peppers, tomatoes (!) and mushrooms. Care to view from another angle?
As for the roasted potatos wrapped in bacon, why not? I washed it down with the house-made beer. I then went to the Bikavér Borház, a wine store and cafe across from my hotel:
I finished off the night with a glass of Bull's Blood, as a popular local wine is known. Very smooth drinking.
