The web-housed thoughts and statements of an attorney practicing employment law, fighting for justice for all Nevada workers, in Las Vegas, Nevada USA, the best city in America in which to practice law and the most exciting city in the Milky Way Galaxy. This was going to be a law blog, but it turned into a travel blog. A blog of my travels. And that's a better use of a blog in everybody's estimation.

Phot-o' the Day: White Llama in the White City, Popayan, Colombia
Popayan, Colombia, is known as "La Cuidad Blanca," "the White City," because of its gleaming white buildings. It's also reputed to be one of the best places on earth (after Seville, Spain) to experience Holy Week, Santa Semana, coming up in April. I was there on a September afternoon to catch a bus to Colombia's Zona Cafetera after visiting San Agustin.
And what did I see immediately upon entering Centro Popayan? A gleaming white llama. Relaxing in the main plaza, Parque Caldas. The gleaming white building in the background is the Cathedral Basilica of Our Lady of the Assumption Catedral, or La Nuestra Señora de La Asunción.
I toned down the light so that the Cathedral Basilica would not totally wash out in the transformation from full color to B&W. This is the photo in natural light:
